Hello my name is Melissa and i just had to find a way to get my story out there. I am 21 years old, and I have psoriasis, I have lived with this "disease" for 10 years of my life now. Until recently i was using steroid creams, 2-4 times a day to help with it,. Now I can see some of the side effects that those creams have had on my skin. And still my psoriasis seemed to get worse, I wasn't treating it, it just seemed like I was covering it up. I had seen the ads on TV for some of the more popular treatments but I didn't like any of the chances for the side effects they caused, I rather just live with psoriasis. And I had tried all types of natural remedies that supposedly worked for others but none seemed to effect mine. I couldnt help but notice that the girl in th epicture is considerably tanner.. did you also tan in conjuction with the drink use, cause uv rays also help psoriasis. Sorry if Im skeptical, its just I have been dealing with psoriasis for a while and it is just getting worse and worse with no treatments helping. The steriod cream seems to calm it, but it is staining and thinning my skin.
The original skin cap from Spain was taken off the market some time ago it claimed to have no steroids but in fact contained 3 to 4 times the amount that a dermatologist would prescribe it does work but it is very dangerous and when you stop taking it there is a horrible rebound effect on the skin, I'm strictly speaking of the original product I would never take it again.
I also have psoriasis and have been dealing w both scalp and spot... Was wondering if anyone had a way to help w the scalp treatment.. I was given a shampoo from my dermatologist and fine it hard to get it directly on the scalp... By the time it makes it through my hair it's just stuck to my hair rather than the affected areas ...:/ very frustrating ... Makes me want to shave my head!!!! I'm female and not sure I could rock the Britney spears very well ... Any advice would help. Thanks!!

Lyse, Try T-gel shampoo. You can get it at walmart, cvs, kmart..ect. I use if for my scalp and it works great. It smells awful though, so i usually wash my hair again after i use it.
What do u think about using this drink for my 7 year old daughter? It kills me to see her so sad from her psoriasis! Is it safe 4 kids?

Sorry it took me so long to respond I didn't know there was any replies....I didn't tan, I didn't change any thing in my everyday life except I stopped using my steroid cream and drank nopalea twice a day, the pictures might seem darker from lighting, I should've taken them in the same place... sorry. And yes it is perfectly safe for kids,it all natural, and my kids Love it!
